After your system is back in working order all you need to do is download and install a new copy of the software, then enter your license information into the software. You should have a copy of your license information printed from when you originally placed the order.
You can download another copy of the software from our download page. If you install a new major version you will need to purchase a major version upgrade in order to receive new license information that works with the new major version, otherwise you can use license information you received when you originally purchased. Choose About on the Help menu to see what version you have installed and make sure that matches the version shown in the email containing your license information.
Once the software is installed and your license information entered you will need to restore your data files from a backup or copy them to your new computer.
1. LICENSE INFORMATION - Shortly after your order is processed (up to 24 hours but usually within minutes) you will receive an email containing your license information. You enter this information into the software as explained in the email to convert the trial to the fully licensed version. There is nothing additional to download and you do not need to install any new software. YOU MUST KEEP YOUR LICENSE INFORMATION SO YOU CAN RE-INSTALL IN THE FUTURE

No. If you already have the latest trial version installed all you need to do is enter your license information, which you receive by email shortly after you purchase a license, into the trial to eliminate the trial period and activate all features. You do not need to download anything or re-install.

When you place an order you receive the license information for the latest version of the product you select. There are several possible reasons for your ID code not working:
You are using an older or newer major version of the product you purchased. Your license information work with all minor versions of the major version you purchased. For example, if you purchased V7 your license information will work with 7.1, 7.2, etc but will not work with 8.x Conversely, if you purchased V8 you license information will work with 8.1, 8.2, etc, but will not work with 7.x Choose About on the Help menu within the software to determine the version then compare it to the version shown with your license information. You are not entering your name and ID code EXACTLY as it was given to you. Your name and ID code must be entered exactly. We recommend copying and pasting your name and ID code to avoid errors and tedious typing.
The date on your computer's clock is not set correctly. Before entering your license information be sure the date is set correctly. You can do this by double clicking on the time and or date in you system tray or notification area or by clicking on the Date and Time icon in Window's Control Panel.
A firewall or proxy server is stopping the software from reaching the Internet for activation. Disable any firewall or proxy then re-enter your license information. If you cannot disable the firewall or proxy please contact us for an alternate method of activation. If there is a MACHINE ID shown on the screen where you enter the license information be sure to include that in your email or we cannot provide an alternate method.
You ordered the wrong product. Contact us and we will advise you on how to order the correct product and receive a credit for the wrong product.
Minor version updates are free to all licensed users. Major version upgrades are available at a reduced price.
Minor Version Updates
A Minor Version Update is an update that contains fixes to minor problems, updates to documentation and/or additional features. Licensed users are entitled to all minor version updates free of charge.
For example, minor version updates to V188.8.131.52 could be V184.108.40.206 ... V220.127.116.11. Our minor version update policy ensures that you get the most out of your license by providing you with minor enhancements and bug fixes free of charge. Generally there are several minor updates for each major release. For minor updates, we try to add features as suggested by users and correct glitches as they are discovered. The number of minor updates you are entitled to depends on when you purchase a license within the upgrade cycle, but the end result is always the same quality product.
*** NOTE: To take advantage of minor version updates simply download and install the new version from our web site. Be sure to follow the instruction displayed during installation. You need not contact us or do anything further for minor version updates.
Major Version Upgrades
A Major Version Upgrade is a an upgrade that contains major enhancements, new features and additional options.. Major version upgrades are available at a discount to users who have purchased a full license from us in the past. Users who are using trial versions, SE versions and other free versions are not eligible for this special upgrade price. If you are using the trial version, an SE version or some other free version please visit our purchase page to place your order.
When the order is completed your license information is displayed right in your browser. It should be printed out. An email is also sent as a second confirmation.
If that email address is not correct or there is a problem with your mail server the confirmation email may take longer to reach you or may be unable to reach you all together. Please check all your email accounts carefully for the email. SPAM filters are being used on just about all email accounts and often improperly catch emails from ecommerce sites. Please check your folder where emails that are flagged as spam are sent . This is usually a folder called "bulk", "junk", "spam", but it depends on your ISP.
Keep in mind that before we can help you we must receive the order as well, so if you order was not completed (you did not receive a confirmation number on screen) then you will need to re-place the order.
If you used a PayPal account to pay for the purchase and did not follow the PayPal instructions on the "Purchase Complete" page when ordering then your order will not be processed and you need to re-place it. The email address you provide on the PayPal screen must exactly match the email address on file with PayPal or the order will be declined.

A single user license allows you to install the software on up to two computers that you use as long as the software is only used on one at a time. If it will be used on both at the same time (you using it on one and another person on the other) then you need two licenses.
