Save As Graphic dialog box

To display the Save As Graphic dialog box select Save As Graphic on the File menu.

 

Allows you to save your label as a graphic file to bring to a local print shop or email to others.

 

 

Graphic Type

 

Select the type of graphic you want to save your design as.

 

PNG

 

This is a lossless format that uses compression to minimize file size.

 

Bitmap

 

This is a lossless format that does not use compression.  Most compatible.

 

JPEG

 

This is a lossy format that can produce high quality and very small image files.  It works best with

 

TIFF

 

This is a specialty format that has some specialty use.  It is not recommended unless you specifically need this format.

 

Metafile

 

This is a vector format that is fully scalable. It is not recommended unless you specifically need this format.

 

tip Tip:

 

If you are sending your graphic to a printer to have professional copies made the best format to use is a lossless format, such as PNG.

 

Filename

 

Check the ... button to select a filename to store your graphic in.

 

Resolution

 

Select the desired resolution.

 

tip Tip:

 

If you are sending your graphic to a printer to have professional copies made be sure to select a resolution of 300 or more.

 

JPEG Options

 

Quality

 

Specify the quality of the compressed image.  In general the larger the quality, the better the quality of the graphic and the larger the file size.

 

Progressive

 

Check this option to use the JPEG progressive compression.
