Allows you to select whether you want to link to a new file, create a new database link file or open an existing database link file.
Link to any of the following popular databases
Select this to link to one of your Personal Databases or other popular database formats, including TXT, CSV, Excel, Access, DBase, Paradox.
Create a new Database Link File to link to an External Database
Select this to create a new database link (.DLF) file and link to an external database such as MS Access or a specific MS Excel sheet, through ADO or ODBC. A data link file is simply a file that contains information on how to connect to an external database. It does not contain any actual data but you can link to it to access the data in the database it describes.
Use an Existing Database Link File
Select this to use an existing Database Link File (.DLF) that you previously created using the Create a new Database Link File to link to an External Database option.
