Open Entry Database dialog box

To display the Open Entry Database dialog box select Open/New on the File menu.

Entry Database File

drop down list

Select from the list of recently used databases.

Select button

Click this button to select a journal database not shown in the drop down list.

Create New button

Click this button to create a new journal database.

Restore button

Click this button to restore a previously backed up database.

Master Password

Enter the master password associated with the selected database. If no password is used leave this field blank.

Specify a specific user to login as

Check this to display the user groupbox.

NOTE: You can only login as a specific user if you have created one or more users with access restrictions in the Users dialog box To access this you must first login as the Admin (default) user.

User (leave name blank for default user)

Name

Enter a user name. If there is only one user leave these blank.

Passcode

Enter the passcode for the specified user. If there is only one user leave these blank.

Click this button to attempt to open the selected database using the specified master password, user and passcode.

Cancel

Click this button to exit without opening a database.
